An executive as well as a learning professional, John is passionate about helping leaders understand the business drivers that demonstrate how improving employee performance improves organizational results. He works with clients to help them envision how the range of learning modalities, ROI measurement and ESI’s global infrastructure can deliver a positive impact to their bottom lines.
The guiding principal for John as President & CEO is that ESI must chart the course ahead, offering the insights of a clear path for its clients to follow. To this end, he has led ESI’s global expansion through the opening of new offices around the world including: China, India, the United Arab Emirates and Canada. He has delivered the greatest expansion of the company’s product and services to date. And, he is piloting the company through a multi-year, global technology infrastructure investment program that will result in significant business efficiencies, providing ESI clients with greater speed and flexibility for all elements of their engagements.
John began his career with ESI in 2000 as Managing Director of Europe before moving to Huthwaite to serve as President & CEO. He was appointed to his current position with ESI in 2004 and Huthwaite in 2008. Prior to joining ESI he worked with several well-known organizations including International Paper where he developed expertise in energy, construction, civil engineering and manufacturing.
