Patrice T. Collins, Vice President of Product Development, ESI International drives the company's goal of providing maximum flexibility in delivering learning content across all delivery methods. She helps clients match learning modalities to their objectives and ensures that each tailored solution leverages ESI’s broad client experience.
Patrice is responsible for ESI’s technology migration of core content. Under her oversight, ESI has transitioned from a traditional production approach of delivering products to just-in-time/on-demand development of learning solutions. This innovation has improved ESI’s time to market for new learning products and tailored client solutions — all the while advancing ESI’s highest quality product standards.
With more than 15 years of instructional design and learning experience, Patrice has been an invaluable asset as ESI has undergone its greatest expansion of products and services over the last five years. Her combined vision, hands-on experience and operational leadership have established her as a thought leader who shares her expertise through active involvement in the professional learning community. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) as well as the Project Management Institute (PMI®), where she serves as an Advisor for their Registered Education Provider Advisory Group.
Prior to joining ESI, Patrice designed and delivered training for Nextel (now Sprint Nextel) and Datatel, where she directed and organized the implementation of training courses. She traveled worldwide to design, develop and deliver educational solutions for customers and staff. Patrice began her career as an adult education instructor with Richmond, Virginia Public Schools, where she designed and implemented staff development programs.
Patrice holds professional certifications as a Certified Training Manager/Director and Certified Instructional Designer as well as a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. She also holds a master’s in English from Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA and a bachelor’s in English from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA.
