The Virtual Classroom
With real-time delivery in a live, online format, ESI's Virtual Classroom lets you communicate with instructors and collaborate with fellow students via microphone and text-chat. This lively, interactive format is unlike any course you've ever taken!
How ESI’s Virtual Classroom Works:
Communication - The instructor and participants communicate instantly via microphone and text-chat.
Interactive Tools - Participants stay engaged with a multitude of interactive tools. Polling questions, surveys, quiz questions and games spark discussion and reinforce key learning points while markup tools and whiteboards allow participants to brainstorm and share their experiences.
Breakout Rooms - In most modules, participants are divided into virtual breakout rooms to collaboratively solve case studies and complete exercises, much like they would in the traditional classroom. Each group can discuss, capture solutions on the screen and save their work to share with the class later.
Offline Homework - Participants complete homework assignments and exercises outside of the classroom to help them further retain and apply new information and prepare for the final exam.
Reinforcement Tools - During and after the course, participants can access valuable tools, templates, readings, reference material, and homework assignments. Also, after the course participants can listen to recorded modules to review information.
Benefits of ESI’s Virtual Classroom Experience:
Consistency - ESI’s Virtual Classroom course offers the same learning objectives and have the same scope of content as our classroom and e-Training courses. Therefore, it’s easy to seamlessly blend Virtual Classroom courses into your current training program.
Convenience and Cost Savings - ESI's Virtual Classroom course can be delivered in modules that only take up part of the day. This means projects won’t have to be put on hold while you train. And, with no travel or lodging expenses to contend with, you will save money.
Valuable PDUs and Certificates - Professional Development Units (PDUs), and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) can be earned by attending any ESI Virtual Classroom course.
Plus, Virtual Classroom courses can be applied toward a number of industry-recognized
certificates from ESI and The George Washington University.
