Effective Project Management in High-Performing Organizations—How to Build a Project Management Profession
Speakers:
Raed Haddad
Senior Vice President of Client Programs, ESI International and
Ron Kempf
Director Project Management Competency and Certification, HP Services
Today’s business world is full of challenges that organizations must overcome if they are to be successful. By effectively implementing a comprehensive project management approach in their organization, many organizations are thriving in the face of adversity. How can you learn from their experiences? Is there a proven “road map” that you can follow to establish project management as a key competency in your organization?
Join ESI and Raed Haddad, ESI Senior Vice President of Client Programs for an exclusive, complimentary seminar event. This presentation will define high-performing organizations from a project management perspective. It will also summarize the current challenges and recommended solutions based on ESI’s experience with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Mr. Haddad will present a project management improvement “road map” focusing on three areas – people, process and tools – including actual examples from work with various ESI clients. At least one tool in each area will be identified that can be implemented back on the job immediately.
Joining Mr. Haddad will be Ron Kempf, Director of Project Management Competency and Certification, HP Services. Mr. Kempf will outline the approach that HP Services undertook to establish a worldwide project management profession. He will also highlight the lessons learned and key results that HP realized during their journey to better project management capabilities.
Participants will learn:
- Best practices to implement project management in organizations
- Proven tools implemented by world-class organizations
- How HP Services established a worldwide project management profession
