Ronald Kempf, PMP, is Director Project Management Competency and Certification for HP Services. In this role he is the worldwide lead for the Project Management Profession. His responsibilities include project management career path, project management competency development, PMP® Certification program, internal project management website, project management knowledge management, and customer project reviews.

Mr. Kempf has a B.Sc. in industrial engineering from Tennessee Technological University and an MBA from Gannon University. He earned his PMP® certification from PMI® in 1997. He has been involved in project management for 30 years. Prior to joining HP Services in 1987, he held a number of management positions with General Electric.

Mr. Kempf has spoken on project management topics at many internal HP Services project management events, PMI® Global Congresses in North America and Europe, ASTD International Conferences, and ESI International seminar events. He has also been quoted in a number of project management books and publications.
