The Big Picture in Project Management
The use of complex projects and programs within organizations is growing, and program managers need to see beyond each individual project and think about the bigger picture - business results. ESI’s Program Management curricula helps program managers of all levels develop the project management, business and leadership skills needed to focus on high level, strategic business goals.
Our curriculum recommends an array of courses that support the PMBOK® Guide areas, the PMI®'s (Project Management Institute) ‘standard for program management’, as well as other key business and leadership skills that are critical to successful program management.
This curriculum will help you-
- Overcome specific skill gaps and challenges that prevent programs from being successful
- Understand how program management can help achieve organizational goals and objectives
Program Management Credentials
ESI’s Program Management curriculum culminates in a Master’s Certificate in Program Management from ESI and our academic partner, The George Washington University School of Business.
Preparing for the PgMP® Exam
The curriculum – along with our PgMP® Exam: Practice Test and Study Guide – is also an excellent way to prepare to meet the rigorous requirements for PMI®’s new PgMP® certification.
Maintaining PgMP® Certification
In order to maintain PgMP® certification, PMI® now requires program management professionals to participate in the Continuing Certification Requirement (CCR) program. The PgMP® certification cycle lasts three years from the date you received the credential, during which you must attain no less than 60 professional development units (PDUs) towards credential maintenance. Most of our courses earn PDUs that count toward PMI®'s requirement.
PMI, PMBOK, and PgMP are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
