This certificate is also available via ESI's e-Training courses.

With everyone who's ever managed a project calling himself or herself a "project manager," professional credentials are increasingly important. The Master's Certificate in Project Management recognizes professionals who have attained the knowledge and experience to oversee all aspects of project management, including initiation, scheduling, quality, procurement and communications issues.

Backed by The George Washington University School of Business in Washington, D.C., this professional certificate distinguishes project managers from their peers. The program does not carry academic credit.

Receive Your Certificate

Upon successful completion of the required seven courses, you will earn a Master's Certificate in Project Management awarded by ESI and The George Washington University.

Requirements

The Project Management Curriculum consists of seven core courses that together address all project management domains found in the PMBOK® Guide.

To earn a Master's Certificate in Project Management, you must successfully complete seven courses within four years. At least three of these must be taken from the Core Project Management courses.

Courses may be applied toward only one master's or professional certificate. You must adhere to the restrictions noted on the course pages.

Course Order

If you have little or no background in project management, we encourage you to choose the seven core courses as your course of study. The curriculum is designed to be flexible and you can customize the course of study to expand your knowledge base and skill set.

Preparing for the PMP® Exam

The course of study enables you to address the entire project management body of knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) established by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). As you complete the courses, you'll also be preparing for PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam.
