ESI International to Offer Associate’s Certificate in Contract Management
(ARLINGTON, VA – October 17, 2006) – ESI International, the leading provider of contract management, project management, sourcing management, business analysis and business skills training, announced that it will now offer an Associate’s Certificate in Contract Management in conjunction with its academic partner, The George Washington University.
The Associate’s Certificate in Contract Management provides an introduction to contract management and is appropriate for anyone needing a basic working knowledge of the subject.
To earn the certificate, students must successfully complete three ESI contract management or select sourcing management courses in two years. One (and only one) course must be taken from one of ESI’s two introductory courses, Federal Contracting Basics or Contract Management Principles and Practices. The remaining two courses required to earn an Associate’s Certificate in Contract Management can be chosen from a list of government contracting, specialized contracting or select sourcing management courses.
“For twenty five years, a certificate from ESI and The George Washington University has been a sign of excellence in both the public and private sectors,” says John Elsey, President of ESI. “That’s why we’re pleased to offer our contracting and sourcing students a new certificate to work toward. The Associate’s Certificate in Contract Management is an ideal way for contract managers, contract administrators, commercial contractors and anyone who works with contracts or acquisitions to demonstrate their commitment to success.”
