Fuji Xerox Learning Institute to Offer ESI International's Project Management Courses in Japan

(ARLINGTON, VA - July 1, 2002) --ESI International, the leading provider of project management and contract management training services, recently entered into an exclusive agreement with the Fuji Xerox Learning Institute (FXLI) to present ESI's project management and information technology project management courses in Japan. FXLI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Xerox, is the company's corporate training university that also offers training to external clients.

"With this agreement with the well-respected Fuji Xerox Learning Institute, we are continuing to penetrate the Asia-Pacific marketplace with our project management training programs," said ESI President Larry Seeley. "FXLI's trust in our products shows that large organizations worldwide consider ESI the market leader in providing world-class training for the global marketplace."

FXLI will offer ESI's project management and information technology project management courses in both English and Japanese to Fuji Xerox and other clients in Japan. FXLI is currently working on translating the ESI core project management curriculum into Japanese and the organization plans to deliver the first course in August. After completing a specified course of study, participants may earn a Master's Certificate in Project Management awarded by ESI's academic partner, The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

"In today's economic climate, project management must become an integral part of any organization's strategy to delivering quality products and services at lower costs and on schedule," said FXLI's President Nobushige Suzuki. "We recognize that in this new economy, professionals must have the best training available to remain competitive. We feel that ESI's project management program is the best the training industry has to offer. Our ability to offer the training company's courses to Fuji Xerox as well as other organizations in Japan will help to improve the success rates of projects and increase profitability for us and our clients."

ESI's headquarters are in Arlington, Virginia. Other U.S. offices are located in Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Sacramento and San Francisco. ESI also maintains international offices in London, São Paulo, Singapore, Stockholm and Sydney. In addition to offering its courses in Japan, ESI's reach extends throughout the Pacific Rim through partnerships with training companies in China and Korea.
