ESI and R-G Team to Offer Project Management Curriculum Companies Create One Complete Solution for Two Major Government Challenges

(ARLINGTON, VA - September 3, 2003) -- ESI International, the industry leader in project management training, and Robbins-Gioia, LLC, a premiere program management consulting company, have teamed to help their federal clients surmount two challenges: fulfilling requirements for project management certification and scoring better on business cases.

Since 1981, ESI has built its reputation as the industry leader in project management and contract management training. ESI's courses are backed by one of the leading universities in the country, The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC. Robbins-Gioia brings 23 years of management consulting experience, with special emphasis on mentoring its clients with certified, on-the-ground experts. By selecting classes in the Robbins-Gioia/ESI project management curriculum, students can earn a Master's Certificate in Project Management from GW. They can also choose to earn an Associate's Certificate in Project Management.

In response to client needs, ESI and Robbins-Gioia have leveraged their extensive corporate experience to create a project management training program that will enhance IT project performance as well as assist in meeting the Office of Management and Budget Exhibit 300 requirements for process change. "This alignment of our two companies enables our customers to take advantage of a total consulting and training package," said Larry Seeley, ESI president. "It makes sense that we would partner together because our products complement one another. Working jointly, we integrate the core competencies of both organizations and confirm our commitment to our customers."

Earlier this year, Robbins-Gioia released a business case analysis service to help organizations implement a consistent process for conducting investment analyses, especially those in the federal government who were specifically responding to the OMB Exhibit 300 submissions. "Based on our extensive experience in helping customers respond to the 300s, it is clear that understanding and practicing project management concepts is a critical factor in meeting these requirements," said Jennifer Stanford, Robbins-Gioia director of professional development. "Through ESI's project management training and our mentoring services, we are providing clients with the knowledge and techniques they need to succeed."
