The Program Management Professional Development Program was created to meet the needs of the increasing number of professionals responsible for managing programs. The Master’s Certificate in Program Management offers a structured array of courses for program managers chosen from various ESI curricula to help strengthen your skills and develop the basis of knowledge required to manage programs successfully.
Backed by The George Washington University, this certificate is an excellent way to showcase your skills and set yourself apart as a leader.
Requirements
You must successfully complete complete five courses within four years. You must adhere to any restrictions noted on the course description pages.
Since the Master’s Certificate in Program Management is designed for professionals with demonstrated commitment to the discipline of program management, you must supply ESI with evidence of the following before your certificate can be awarded:
- Project Management Experience
& Education (one of the following):- ESI/GW Master’s Certificate in Project Management or Information Technology Project Management, or Advanced Master’s Certificate in Project Management
- Certificate in project management from an organization that has been approved by ESI
- PMP® Certification
- Project management certification from a formal, client-sponsored, internal certification program that has been approved by ESI
- 3,000 hours of project management experience
- Program Management Experience:
3,000 hours of program management experience

You may take any course in the curriculum without applying to the certificate program; however, your application must be approved before a certificate will be awarded.
