Synopsis

Managing Projects gives you the foundation to manage each stage of the project life cycle, work within organizational and cost constraints, set goals tied directly to stakeholder needs, get the most from your project management team, and utilize state-of-the-art project management tools to get the work done on time and within budget. You?ll learn best practices currently used in today?s fast-paced business environment, as well as the latest insights from the Project Management Institute?s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). You?ll also discover a wealth of valuable, flexible tools that you can use immediately to ensure the success of any project in any type of organization.

Polling, surveys, brainstorming sessions, discussions, and quick quizzes are used to keep things lively and ensure understanding. Brief individual assignments enable you to apply concepts to your own jobs and experience and practice new skills. Most modules have a breakout session allowing you to work collaboratively in teams. Your instructor provides feedback relevant to you through out your course experience and is always available to answer any questions about course concepts.

This course is composed of twelve, 90-minute modules with additional time for breaks, assignments and a final exam.
